Kathleen Malone

Based in Ennistymon, Co. Clare. Originally, when Kathleen began recording it in January 2020, it was intended to help towards the kids having a better quality of life but they now need urgent funding for PPE etc. as Covid-19 is causing a threat to a lot of kids and young adults in the orphanages that Burren Chernobyl Project supports. The kids are immunocompromised and this could be devastating for them.

All of the proceeds are going directly to Burren Chernobyl Project. If you donate €15.00 and provide Kathleen with your address, you will receive a copy of the album ‘My Island Home’ in the post.

The title track was composed by Denis Allen from Co. Limerick. The second track called "Fallout" is a song Kathleen co-wrote, about her experiences visiting one of the orphanages in Belarus. "Whispering Hope" and "You'll Never be the Sun", are recorded with her Dad, Jerry Lynch. Other titles include "Feet of a dancer", "Inside Out", "Past the Point of Rescue", "Trouble in the Fields" and "Summerfly".
